Best Study Bible out there.  Excellent all-round resource.  Phenomenal study notes, as well as well-written articles.  You will not be disappointed. A must have for every household.

I personally love this Study Bible.  The NLT translation is the best evangelical paraphrase out there.  We read this version for our family devotions.  The notes are as good as the ESV Study Bible IMHO.  Like the ESV SB, emphasizes redemptive historical flow of Scripture.

A beast.  But a beast every single Christian home should have.  It's nice to have this reference guide around, as he deals with almost every conceivable theological theme.  Calvinistic.  Baptistic.  Non-cessasionist.

Classic.  Every Christian needs to read this.  Theological, yet extremely practical & devotional.

Another classic that every Christian should read.  Very readable.  Stott is an excellent writer who puts the cookies on the bottom shelf for the kiddies to eat.

Driscoll is great.  Smaller version of Grudem.  Very practical.  Great primer.  Driscoll has an amazing ability to write in a way that is informative, entertaining, & compelling.
