Tripp loves the gospel.  This is not a "how-to" guide.  Rather, he focuses on the gospel, and the implications for marriage that flow out of what Christ has done for sinners.

Piper reminds us of the seriousness of the marriage covenant between husband & wife.  Gospel-centered.  The solution: appropriation of the gospel of Christ through faith.

Another grace-centered book.  Practical, but not legalistic.  Highly recommended.  Sovereign grace people, so solid stuff.

Great, not only for those thinking of marriage, but a beautiful reminder for those who are.  Again, Sovereign Grace guy, so it's solid, yet not dry & boring.

Really enjoyed this book.  Repetitive, but that's good for thick heads like mine. The title is the oft-repeated premise of this book.  Really unpacks Ephesians 5:22-33 well.

Wilson, is, well, Wilson.  A different angle (as he is characteristic of doing).  Touches on things & has some theological insights most marriage books miss.

Really, really enjoyed this book.  The most practical of the books we have read on marriage.  Note: there is one chapter that might make some more "conservative" Christians uncomfortable.
