Bible Quizzing

You are invited to join Bible Quizzing.

What is it?

Bible quizzing is a youth ministry where kids memorize Bible verses each week and compete as teams in a game. Participants, known as quizzers, are asked different question types regarding the memorized Scripture and can buzz in and answer in order to gain points. Throughout the year, meets will be held in towns all over Alberta, with opportunities for quizzers to advance further up to international (Canada & US) competitions.

This year we will be memorizing the book of Acts. Though some quizzers choose to memorize a chapter each week, quizzers can also commit to memorizing around 2, 4, 6, or 12 key verses each week, depending on their time and abilities. Each week we will spend time practicing, playing games, praying, and having devotions on the weekly material. Quizzing is a great way to meet new friends and most importantly, learn and store God's Word in your heart.

Who can join?

Quizzers must be age 12-17 at some point during the quizzing year, defined as July 31, 2022 - July 31, 2023. This means that all youth born between August 1, 2004 and July 31, 2011 will be eligible to quiz, regardless of school status.

Quizzers born between August 1, 2011 and July 31, 2013 can join as junior quizzers. They will not be eligible to join District meets but can participate in local team practice and events.

When and where will it be?

Lethbridge Bible Quizzing meets every Tuesday from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at our church building. Practices will run each week from the beginning of September until the District Finals in April.
